Join the Bellezza staff at the 8th Annual Shirley Mae 5K Run & Gilda's Club Walk , taking place on May 8th on the boardwalk in front of the Taj Mahal. The funds raised benefit the Shirley Mae Breast Cancer Assistance Fund, providing direct support to breast cancer patients in southeastern New Jersey, and Gilda's Club of South Jersey.

Bellezza Owner Denise Rounds Receives Community Hero in Action Award
Denise is committed to increasing breast cancer awareness. She developed and organizes the annual Shirley Mae 5K Run & Gilda's Club Walk, proceeds of which assist cancer survivors in financial need. Additional funds are given to support Gilda'sClub South Jersey and AtlantiCare Breast Cancer Support Group.
Denise coordinated a breast cancer awareness support and awareness program for Hispanic & Vietnamese congregants of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Atlantic City. In collaboration with AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's RNS Mobile Digital Mammography Program and Hope Community Cancer Center, she arranged for culturally-appropriate education, screenings and follow-up visits for the parish members.
AtlantiCare Women's Health & Wellness congratulates Denise and others who dedicate themselves to making their communities a better place for all of us.
